I remember playing this game on a Saturday Night while this song was playing and my moms walked in and yelled “Apaga ese Juego estoy tratando de dormir!” (Turn off that game I’m trying to sleep!) and laughed not at her but because it was a damn near literal translation. Needless to say I ended up with a lump on my head.
In all seriousness DC….what a copout.
First you hype up everyone claiming that an ICONIC DC character that was introduced as straight will come out the closet as being gay. Made everyone think that this will be a major move an come as to great shock to the current DC lineup only to have a younger 70 year old character in an alternate universe that has no effect to the current and actual DC universe, oh and since he’s younger his son who was already established as a gay character no longer exists.
Taking a look at the preview screens there isn’t any shock and awe about his sexuality that we were promised. “Oh hello BF *smooch*” The end. Seriously? I could care less about a characters sexuality but don’t hype it up as an epic groundbreaking revelation/event like the Gay Marriage in the Astonishing X-Men when it really isn’t.
